Guzmer Bot is a Discord bot used mostly for moderating the Guzmer Discord guild. Its features include changing the server region, posting links to videos posted on the Guzmer website, and starting the forgiveness process to remove the TERMINATED role from members.
History
Cory began development on Guzmer Bot late November of 2019. The bot was developed in order to allow members to change the server region without requiring the assistance of an admin. By the time Guzmer Bot was added to the Guzmer Discord server on November 27th, 2019, it could display Amazon link previews and even forgive users for neglecting to say guzbye. Early April 2020, Guzmer Bot started posting videos posted to the Guzmer website to the epic-gamer-moments text channel. Late May 2020, a new feature was added to allow users to add temporary server emoji to use in messages or as reactions. Please don't tell Discord that we're doing this.
