Neil was one of two baby rats Cory adopted from an animal rescue late September 2019. Neil was adopted with his presumed brother, Gerald. His name is mostly inspired by the internet-famous rat by the same name. However, his full name was inspired by fictional character Neil Nordegraf's nickname in the Scott Pilgrim series.
Appearance
Neil had smooth, silky fur and straight whiskers. His fur was a darker shade of black than his brother's.
Personality and Behavior
Neil frightened easily and had a tendency to be shy around people he's unfamiliar with. It took time for him to warm up to people. He liked to start brawls with his brother, even when Gerald wasn't up for it. He didn't pee pee on people!
When new cage mates Vinny and Beans were introduced, Neil bonded with them immediately. He could frequently be seen cuddling with them and playing together.
